About the Award-Winning Assembly Pavilion Design: Flexo InForm is an assembly pavilion derived from an innovative design processes oriented to geometric-material performance. The process developed begins with the parametric discretization of a complex geometry inspired by the weaving of natural fibers typical of the Argentine Littoral region. Simulation algorithms use active bending behavior as a design tool applied to structures that base their geometry on the elastic deformation of laminar elements. The result is a low-cost mono-material pavilion, self-supporting, adaptable to any terrain topography, low weight and fast assembly.
This palette has a warming feel, evoking comfort and energy.

Mauro Chiarella and Veizaga-Gronda team is a celebrated creative director honored by the A' Design Award. Their portfolio demonstrates expertise in design and visual communication.
Doctor Architect Mauro Chiarella is a Researcher; Full Professor and the creator of the Representation and Ideation Laboratory (RI.LAB). His lines of research explore innovation in ephemeral architecture and industrial design through the study of ideation processes from new digital technologies. The research and works developed have been published and cited in indexed scientific journals, receiving international awards and distinctions. RI.LAB studies the current cultural and instrumental conditions of the contemporary subject where creativity is expanded in a process of exchange and interaction through collective authorship; digital databases and algorithmic interfaces generating multiplicities and mixtures both in their procedures and in their results.
